Yup, I am issuing a challenge to all writers (if any actually pay attention to my journals anymore). My challenge is to write at least a page a day (or more if you desire but the minimum is a page). Yes, one page Microsoft Word page, with the text 10pt-12pt or smaller if you so desire (I usually use size 10 for my text). This is a hard for me lately because I have been busy, and it took be forever to decide which story to focus on out of my 8 stories. But in one week, 7 days, I had written 21 pages! That is triple the amount I had set as a goal, and I noticed the more I wrote the more I wanted to. I am now on 29 pages, not exactly the great amount I did the first week, but life is so wonderful in how it likes to throw everything at you that I haven't had time to do much(I feel a little bit comforted by the fact that I have 29 pages even though I've just started this challenge).  xD

We're all human, but it's fun to pretend we're not and that we're some amazing person that can take on the world so a page a day isn't really that hard right?

No, no, not at all. If you believe that then I have a lovely swamp I'd like to sell you, and did you know water isn't actually wet?

Okay, excuse my babbling, can you tell I am a little bit hyper at this moment (of course you can't, how can one tell emotion through written text?)

But yes, I am enjoying the challenge and I thought I'd extend it to all writers! Pick a story, whether it is one you are working on or starting right this second, and write a page to it a day. You can even rotate between 2-3 stories (that is the amount I suggest rotating through because any more and you might be overwhelmed/end up ignoring one). It really helps if it is a story you actually are enjoying, one you want to write and are always thinking about/ thinking of its characters in some way. This is how it is for this one I am working on now, I am constanly thinking of it, or at least the characters. I have a love and affinity for them and so they are fun to write for (even if I am terrible at emotions).

I have thrust the gauntlet down before you, will you pick it up and accept my challenge? if you do let me know how you are doing after a week or so of writing, tell me what you think of The page a day challenge. I'd love to hear your thoughts, opinnions, and experiences while trying to write a page a day. Just think there are 365 days in a year, if you can write a page a day for a year you will have that many, if you get into the habit of writing a page a day you'll notice you'll have more desire to write more then that (at least I do). SO GO FORTH AND FIGHT BRAVELY MY FRIENDS! FOR VICTORY MEANS A FINISHED BOOK!

Oh and here is an awesome playlist I have made to write to- www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjVeTk… You may just find it inspiring.
